Just got off the phone with SA and...... NO WAY!!!!! Im stuck with the brake that came with it and if I do not like well suck eggs. I want to keep my SOCOM16 but besides changing the barrell to put my suppressor on it what can I do???? ]

Give me an update on this information.... We have talked about this before!!!

From what I get from SA and looking at detail pics of SOCOM muzzle brake, your SOCOM muzzle brake barrel threading is rare & also serves as a gas lock. Unless SEI comes up w/ SOCOM muzzle replacement, you're stuck my friend

Hey, I like the SOCOM muzzle brake, looks cool & reduces recoil, and create larger sound blast to scare off intruders, besides no suppressor, what's not to like

Maybe a machine shop could make an adapter for you.

I have lots of ideas but I think that the best one is to get an SCOUT barrell and cut it down and thread it.

Call Troy Industries (413) 243-9315,. They have a Krinkov Brake in the works for the SOCOM threads.

Here is the proto-type Krink on the SOPMOD II prototype. They will have a special gas plug to go with them, but I don't know what they will offer for a front sight as they use their rail mounted front sight on the CBR stock.

Take Care,

Tony

Tony,

I know Krink in the pic is a FlashHider, do Troy have a true Krink muzzle brake that reduces recoil & muzzle flip for the standard barrel like Scout?

Thanks.
