Hey all,
I'm sending in my recently acquired BNVD-Gs to Night Vision Depot to have them take a look at problem I'm having.
It turned off once or twice during the first hour when the muzzle flash from a rifle shut the unit off. I just thought it was the autogating being sensitive until it started to get progressively more sensitive.
Eventually just tapping or moving the unit should shut them off and you had to tap them again to turn them back on. All the while I could still hear the autogating buzzing away
Some times you have to tap on it quite a few times to get them to turn back on.
This happens in absolute darkness and higher light environments. I've changed batteries multiple times so it's not that. I've also checked the tightness of the battery cap.
I have an RMA from NVD and they're going back tomorrow but I just wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem and if anyone knows a potential solution?
Thanks
ETA: These are an older set of BNVD's from NVD. Also I'm working with the seller on this so hopefully we can figure out a solution
