Got an email from Harlan tonight, so here you go. Keep in mind that this is all I know about it too.

Greetings!

The wait for resumed availability of the DC Industries FAL receiver has been long and frustrating for all. There is now some positive news to report.

DC Industries was manufacturing its FAL receiver exclusively for FAC of America. FAC owned the investment casting tool employed to produce receiver castings. When FAC went out of business, the casting tool became unavailable for use by DC Industries. It became necessary for DC Industries to get a new casting tool. This has now been accomplished.

DC Industries will soon have receiver castings. In preparation for this, properly qualified machining centers have been lined up to schedule machining time. All parties involved are enthused to get an ongoing and regular manufacturing process set up.

The DC Industries FAL receivers will be distributed by a company named NoDak Spud LLC (www.nodakspud.com). Questions and inquiries about the DCI FAL receivers should be directed to NoDak Spud ([email protected]).

It is the intention of DC Industries and NoDak Spud to first attend to filling the leftover orders taken, but not completed, by FAC. Records of these orders are held by NoDak Spud. As receivers become available, NoDak Spud will be contacting the dealers and end users involved in these orders, and gathering information to reconfirm the orders. This will include the discussion of payment options and the request for current license copies.

When all the “old” business is taken care of, the DC Industries FAL receivers will be accumulated in inventory and offered for sale to “new” customers. Updates will be sent to keep you up to date with how this is progressing.

The first DC Industries FAL receiver to be ready for market will be a type 1 version. Later a type 3 version will be offered. Pricing levels will be competitive in the market. Some kind of a custom marking option is a very good probability.

Thanks to all for your patience and continued interest in this product line.
