Hello everyone. I finally got a Bushmaster AR15 a few days ago, and found the website.

Would like to say hello to everyone, and thanks to many other that made posts that I was able to read for a while as a guest.

What are your feelings on Cops?

Cops are there to protect us, so I am kinda neutral in reference to them.

I only have a qualm when I meet one who is carrying a bit of unwarranted arrogance or attitude for no reason in particular.

All is well.

Thank you for the welcome.

Welcome Rishel

I found this site myself only a short time ago.

These guys really know thier stuff. I have saved much time and $$$ by asking questions

Rishel,

That question about cops was actually a joke. It went along with Raf's thing about carrots, 10mm, and Gyrojets.....stick around long enough and you will figure it out.

Someone will probably post why...but until then you can have some fun figuring it out.

AR15s are like Lay's potato chips-- nobody can own just one. If they get to be a problem let us know, and we'll recommend a good 12-step program.

Welcome aboard!

I got the Bushmaster XM-15 E2s model, 20"

I got it new at a gun show for $725, and was hoping that I got a good deal.

I think I did, based on the fact that every store locally to me was selling it at $999 plus taxes.

when you remove the carry handle and you're left with the flat top, you have the A3 version.

i have the 20" HBAR (heavy barrel) A3 too. as the song goes, "i like it, i love it, i want some more of it." dang, i think i gotta get to the range this weekend.

Ok cool! Thanks everyone. I just put the non collapsable telescoping buttstock on it, and got my IOR 4 x 24 m2 scope.

I think it should work out kinda nice, we will see. Dressing it out is as much fun as shooting it, thats for sure.

I actually saw the optional flare launcher on Bushmasters site, hmmm....

:)
