Hi folks, I'm a long time reader and finally wanted to join in. I'm lucky enough in my opinion to have one of about 800 of the finest post ban AR's which is a Knights SR 15 M4.

I also just bought a titanium S&W 342PD  38spl...are any of you familiar with this gun and are they any tricks i can add to it..ie...trigger job ect?

thanks

SoCal huh. If you ever find your way into the Bay Area give an E-Mail and we'll go shoot sometime.
I've been wanting to shoot a Knights for awhile now.

Welcome aboard . I'm in SoCal too. Check the meetings and events forum for info on our next Webshooters meet, which will be in March at Angeles Range. We have a blast (literally) and good food too.

What indoor range empties when you show up? Let me know because I want to go there.

Hiya.  I have the same effect on people whether I have an AR15 or not!  Give em hell.

There was a guy just the other day who was shooting a BFR .45-70 handgun.  The cartridge on that little puppy was as long as the slide on some handguns.  Not as much recoil as I would have expected...a little less than a .44Mag in fact.  However, the barrel on the BFR was veryyyyy long so I figure that helped a little bit.

Welcome!

Ah, LAX firing range, off the 405 right next to the car wash... never been there but drove by it a bunch of times.

Regarding the S&W trigger job, I can recommend one of three local gunsmiths who can do it for you. Email me if you're interested. [email protected]

Welcome comrade! Ah yess, another fellow traveler from the PRK(Peoples' Republik of Kalifornia).

Yep, I got one of them, the trigger is terrible heavy.  BUT think about what the intended purpose of this gun.  It is for self-defense when the adrenlin is high etc. So you would want a fairly heavy trigger to prevent accidents.  You wouldn't want to end up like that guy in Santa Ana, Calif for alledgely shooting a kid for trying to steal a Halloween pumpkin.

Is this range any where near "LIVE LIVE NUDE NUDES!"  Sorry, that's the only significant landmark I can think of.

Question..I lived in Lawndale which is in socal near Redondo Beach, how do you take an AR-15 to a range and not get in trouble. I've lived in Nevada now for 6 years and thought Ar's and AK's and all "Assault" rifles were subject to confiscation in any part of commiefornia.
