I am eagerly anticipating delivery of a Mini Uzi and would love a .22 conversion.  Does such an animal exist?  Do they work?  Who sells them?  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Go over to uzitalk.com .....

I heard that you can take a semi-auto  22LR conversion for a full-size UZI and adapt it to a mini .......

I think there is a kit for sale over there.

A user here (amphibian) has a custom 22LR kit for his mini, so you may want to IM/e-mail him ....

I was going to pursue the 22LR kit for my mini, but decided to put all of my 22LR efforts to an LM7.

Always seemed to me that a mini-UZI would be a prime canididate for 22LR and am suprised that it hasn't been pursued more ....

Also, come to think of it, I believe there is a vendor working on 22LR drums for the UZI and also working on a 22LR conversion for the mini (Barrelxchange).

Yes, I have a custom 22LR conversion for my MINI and MICRO UZI's.
Below is a picture of mine.
They are a lot o fun.

I have tried the semi-auto conversion in a full size years ago and I personally wouldn't recommend it.  It obviously wasn't designed for FA and I got a lot of out of battery detonations with it.

Thanks Boyz.

Phib, how do I get one of them with a couple of magazines?  Was it difficult to make run?  That sight and mount is hot too, how do you deal with different zeros for 9x19 and .22LR?

You don't get one.  Vector does not have the conversion or the magazines in production, in favor of other projects,  Also it said custom, so once you did get a std. kit, then you need to get it customed.

My 22LR MINI/MICRO bolt is made from a 9mm MINI OPEN bolt NOT a 22LR bolt.
I used the 22LR firing pin/extractor block from a 22LR bolt and mounted it to the modified 9mm Open bolt.
Then milled it a lot to make it lighter.
The point of impact between the 9mm and 22LR is actually about the same for 40 yards which is the max distance my outdoor range allows FA.
However since my bolt is notched for a MICRO, I use two different topcovers for my MINI one for the 9mm and one for 22LR.
I make the custom topcovers so not a big deal for me.
