Guys I am in the middle of rebuilding my house after a fire so my normal buy the best attitude is a little hamstrung.
I would like to buy two setups. One for wife and one for me trying to stay at $800 for both if possible .   I have been doing a little searching and I honestly just don't have the time to make a well thought out decision without a bit of guidance.
Honestly the problem is information overload the search button worked to good this time

My use will be primary to own is case shit.  However I have my own private range so I can practice shooting with it on etc so I want whats reasonably comfortable.
Brands don't have to match and honestly my wife will try hers on then it will never go back on unless the university commies start popping pmags
With that said I want her to be protected but something more basic will work

Here's what I would do with that budget.

Highcom 4SAS7 (10x12 shooter's cut, single curve): $160/each, with 20% discount code (AR15.com), comes out to $512
https://highcomsecurity.com/collections/plates/products/guardian-4sas-7?variant=361422057
For $32 more per set of plates, you could go with the more comfortable multi-curve plates.

GGG Minimalist PC: $115/each, comes out to $230
https://greyghostgear.com/collections/plate-carriers/products/minimalist-plate-carrier?variant=38220867015

You'll be just over $750 for both setups including the shipping from GGG.

Good luck with your rebuild.
