I'm not much of a shotgun guy, but since moving north, there isn't a whole lot of hunting by means of rifles so I bought a shotgun. I bought an 870 with ghost ring sights and i cant maintain a good cheek weld and look through the sights as well. I was looking at the eagle industries shotshell carrier but thats about all I can find along the lines of a cheeck riser by a reputable brand I'd trust. I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions or input as to what works for you and if something like this would work with something like the Eagle sling or Spectre sling?

This is my do everything shotgun from clays to deer to HD so I need the most versatility.

I just put a Mesa Tactical Urbino stock on an 870 - it has an adjustable cheek riser.  Pistol grip might not be your thing, but it also has a couple of sling mounting options.
