I got Beretta M9 about 5 days ago and i like the gun but it's to damn big.
It shot great! but I can't use it as a CCW.

I sold it today(I chang gun like I change undees) and don't know what to try next.
I'm soooooo damn picky but I have to get just the right gun.

Here is what I need and what I have tryed:DA(for school) 4" barrel min.,no longer than 7",no taller than 5",iI would like a 9mm so I could have highcaps in a gun this size but if there is a 10 round .45 thats even better.

I have had :Glock19,Sig226,Para-Ord, and a Beretta 92/M9
What eles is there for me to try out?

Better than your Beretta, and better than Glocks- and pretty much fits in the size range you required.
They are getting expensive though. Get one while you still can.

The Glock 19, Sig 226 and Beretta 92 are all well-designed guns.  But it's true, if it doesn't fit with the concealment you have in mind, then odds are you won't take it with you.  

I'm guessing that size was the determining factor with all three guns above?  So the Glock 19 being the smallest, let's start with that as a benchmark.

The G30 is about the same size as the 19...a bit thicker....so scratch that.

Glock's 26 (9mm), 27 (.40), and 33 (.357 Sig) are all about a half inch shorter in the barrel and stock.

Sig's subcompacts are the P239 series in 9mm, .40 S&W and .357 Sig.  The Sig P245 mentioned above is a smaller version of the P220.  I've haven't tried the P245, but the P220 is one sweet shooting pistol!  I even carried a P220 for a little bit.  It's longer than the Glock 19, but not quite as thick.  It's one I had to "dress around."

Taurus just came out with their PT-145 in .45.  A friend just picked one up...quite small, that's for sure!  Especially for a 10+1 capacity.

Para-Ordinance makes about the smallest of the 1911-style pistols.  They make them with double-stack mags or single-stack mags..single or double action...

Glocks, even with the lack of external safety, usually don't go off by themselves.

Dude you can flame me if you want but evry other gun maker sees fit to put sefties on there guns.

Why don't you just get a Kimber Polymer. IT holds ten rounds of 45 acp and they are known for there superior accuracy. I never had a Kimber that didn't shoot great. You can also get that in a 40 cal.

Sigs have no safeties either.  Pull the trigger, it goes bang.  It has a decocker, but when decocked, just one DA trigger pull causes it to fire.  The M9 and the Para will have true safeties if that's what you are all about.  You don't have to pull the trigger on the sig to break it down if that was your problem with the glock(sometimes that causes troubles, although you should always check the chamber of any gun before breaking it down).  As far as safeties go, some people like the added sense of no accidental misfires, but the others hate them because of accidental non-fires.  Personally if I grab my handgun, I want to just point and shoot, not worry if it has the safety on or not.  But no gun will go off unless you physically pull the trigger(except for those real winners out of japan during WW2).

It;s not that I think they are flawed,maybe I'm just to ruff with guns but running fight,ect I don't feel good with a gun thats cocked but not locked and I may very well find my self doing these things at some time.

McUzi is correct.  The HS2000 is one hell of a pistol.  It is 1000X better than my piece of crap Kimber Polymer.  The beavertail safety and other safety features make it safer to carry than a glock.  

Spend the $300 and go home happy.
