Friend's wife has one of these cheap .22's . They got it used , so no manual. Anybody know how to break the thing down? I've worked on my share of guns, but this little thing has me stumped.
Thanks |

My friend has one of those, and she loves it. There was some problem with the magazine, but once that was ironed out, it was a good pistol. She likes small guns because she has elbow joint injuries, and large guns hurt. Personally, the damn thing has too many safeties and I'd never be able to undafe it fast enough.

The mag safety is very easy to disable (and I recommend it). To break it down, first CLEAR the pistol, then pull the little finger rail under the barrel forward, which will unlock the barrel. Remove the barrel slowly, as there's a spring under there. You can get 3" and 5" barrels for these.

Thanks! The release was evidently jammed. Just took a good hit to get it loose. Thanks again. |
