I already have a SWR specwar II, but was looking at getting a new can for a 14.5" LMT MRP barrel.

The flashhider must be pinnable , will likely send to ADCO for pinning, and have the 16.1" length when pinned.

any good recommendations for a bilock flashhider and can combos?

Gemtech G5. I would recommend either silver solder or having gemtech laser weld it over pinning, though.

Gemtech G5 or G5-T.

They have 3 styles of Bi-Lock that should make a 14.5" AR barrel 16.1" when permanently attached:
- Phantom-style (come standard w/ suppressor)
- HK416
- Vortex

Of those 3, the Phantom will have the shorted OAL with the suppressor attached, as the lugs are at the rear of the mount. The lugs are further forward on the other two, to insure clearance from the front sight base / gas block on barrels < 10.5".

The temperatures involved in either TIG welding or silver solder will destroy the heat treatment and may well warp the bi-lock mount. I am not sure I would want to subject the muzzle of my rifle to these temperatures either.

Blind pinning is the correct method of attachment, and we tack the pin in place with the laser welder. By the way, when drilling the bi-lock, you need to use solid carbide drills; it is really hard with an Rc >45.
