That is a sear trip lever. The part that a F/A Carrier trips that allows full auto. It is not needed for most people unless unless they have FA.

XX indicates 9mm. RTG sells the Catch and roller sear for 18$ so its not that valuable

While it was made for a specific caliber, it is non-caliber specific. It will work in a pack for any of the series. Its one of the things that get removed when converting a fa pack to sa, so there are tons of them around that nobody wants or needs.

Are you sure about this??  I had to modify mine for my MP5/40....the mag would catch on the end of it, and not fully seat.

Not sure how that happened. I use the same one in all my host guns. Pistol and rifle calibers, even the new PTR 32.

People with sear packs do not change this part out when changing calibers. Only the ejector lever, and sometimes the hammer spring.

I believe the Trip has to be changed/modified for .40/10mm because of the magazine. I believe the .40/10mm trip works in all calibers

This would make sense...funny tho, I bought an SEF pack from HKparts.net for .40, I'm guessing its a regular G3 pack that they swapped the .40 ejector and 9mm hammer into, but forgot the sear trip
