Hey there folks, I'm hopeing to get a price check on a G3 kit.

As far as I know it is a G3 kit that has both the green plastic and wood stock.

Comes with only one magazine and the bore is in very good shape.

So how much should I offer him?
What are they worth?

Thanks

Buzz.

Interordnance sells the G3 parts kits with green furniture in Very Good condition for $264. This kit includes everything except the receiver, as well as 4 mags, 2 mag holders, and a cleaning kit. I purchased one of the kits myself and I can confirm that the one I got was in fantastic shape. Other than some wear from shipping on the stock, it was all in great condition. The only problem I had is that the forearm color doesn't match the grip housing or the A2 stock so it looks kind of silly on the gun. Other than that, the parts had very little use, the barrel looks brand new.

If it has both stocks (and they're useable,) I'd offer $300, one stock set, $250.

You have to get pics- hammer condition, bolt, rear sight, flash suppressor, front sight tower.

The small parts can cost you if they aren't servicable. I've seen rear sights with no finish, and front sight towers that were warped, and flash hiders that were mangled.

The mags are a moot point right now. Tapco has like new ones for 50/$50.

actually, I just picked up a handful from an order from Century of all companies.. They were $1 each. With sleeves....

Granted they are the non-anit-rattle type. but still I think if you buy 10 they are $.50

Century has some great prices, but their $75 min order and $12.50 processing fee is a bit excessive... Please enlighten me if there is a way around this

The $12.50 fee does cover shipping... I usually just tack on small parts when ordering something else...

can't help otherwise.....

I guess I should have bought a bunch on my last order and mailed them out as ARF.com Christmas presents for the G3 builders..

Ok by paddles I suppose you guys are talking about the paddle mag release.

Just why do our rifles don't have them??

OBTW.

I finally got some pics of the rifle.

Its a STG-58 not a G-3.

Sorry about the post folks. I'll ask in the Fal thread.

thanks for all your help.
