Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need Benelli help again

OK, how do I plug this thing?  Dove season has snuck up on me and will be here soon.  It is an older M3 with the integral extension.  Don't have a manual (yet).  I got the funny shaped end piece out of the tube, but can't figure out how to get the end cap out to put a dowel rod in.  Any help?  Thanks in advance.
