I need my 9mm AR barrel cut down and re-threaded. Who can do this or who should I send it to?

It is currently 16"....I need it cut down for a Can, but don't want to lose accuracy. What is the shortest I can go down to without hurting accuracy?

I need a pretty fast turn around as this is a duty weapon.

thanks in advance

Not sure on who, I would recommend looking for a local smith if speed is a factor. As far as lenth you can go pretty short with a 9mm, the MP5 has an 8.8 inch barrel.

I got this from Kurt regarding a 223 barrel. You might want to drop him a e-mail and see about his turn around time and if the price is the same for the 9mm barrel.

Cut/Crown/thread-$35 + S&H. Thx.

The can will be a Bowers CAC9. I am using a thread adapter for the Can so it will also work on the MAC. Bowers already said they would warranty using it on both firearms with the adapter.
