I live in a non-free state (and moving is not an option - family, friends, family business).  However, my parents have a home in a free state (Florida).  I was wondering, can I set up a Florida corporation to buy NFA items to keep down there, so I can have fun with them when I'm down there on vacation a couple times a year?

As a lawyer, I don't see why not - a Florida corporation is a legal resident of Florida under the law.  However, I was wondering if anyone here had any experience or knowledge about this.

Should be doable. Is one of your parents willing to be the resident agent for your foreign corporation?  If so it should be quite simple.  Might want to post in the FL Hometown forum for details on setting up a corp there.
