I found this M1 Carbine at a little country store in the middle of no where. The $398 price made me smile all the way to the cash register. It is a Inland SN# 765,XXX. I have wanted one for years. No Import marks and the barrel looks great.

I'm not feeling the LOVE....... Oh Well......... I think I will buy some parts and assemble a M1 carbine. Wonder if the Springfield Armory receivers are any good ?

Excellent, you did good.
I love my 1943 Inland, loads of fun to shoot and ammo is still fairly cheap. |

Never put 'Springfield Armory Inc' and 'Good' in the same sentence... Anyone can use the 'oldest name in American Firearms'... It takes quite a bit more to make quality guns, and they don't have it... |

Hey, I live in the middle of nowhere. I ran across a Saginaw several years ago for 475 and have been bragging on it since. Good price. Now do like I do, go to gunshows and shop for M1 Carbines and laugh at the prices! |
