I found this M1 Carbine at a little country store in the middle of no where. The $398 price made me smile all the way to the cash register. It is a Inland SN# 765,XXX. I have wanted one for years. No Import marks and the barrel looks great.

I'm not feeling the LOVE....... Oh Well......... I think I will buy some parts and assemble a M1 carbine. Wonder if the Springfield Armory receivers are any good ?

Excellent, you did good.
I love my 1943 Inland, loads of fun to shoot and ammo is still fairly cheap.

Never put 'Springfield Armory Inc' and 'Good' in the same sentence...

Anyone can use the 'oldest name in American Firearms'... It takes quite a bit more to make quality guns, and they don't have it...

Hey, I live in the middle of nowhere.

I ran across a Saginaw several years ago for 475 and have been bragging on it since.

Good price.

Now do like I do, go to gunshows and shop for M1 Carbines and laugh at the prices!
