He went to a local gunshop (Albany,NY) and walked out of there with what appears to be the only remaining Armalite in the area- an Armalite AR-10A4! New in the box he only paid $975. To top it off, they also happened to have the Elcan scope made specifically for the Armalite. That only cost about $550. So for a little over $1,500 bucks, he's got himself one find piece of shooting equipment with the sites to match. Does anyone know of a good source of the mags that are used to be converted to work in the Armalite? I was thinking about buying him some for his birthday.
