I got myself an early b-day present today (my bday is Friday)
I put an Omega Z5 on layaway today. I'm pretty excited.
I'll pay it off around the 1st of Oct, when I get back from my honeymoon.
I'm looking at using Triple 7 pellets, and Hornady 250 gr. SST sabots.
Is there a ramrod end that is made for these sabots so the tip doesn't become deformed when I load them?

Any suggestions or ideas, or what do you guys think?

Thanks for your help.

You are going to love the 777.  That rifle wilth 777 will clean up faster than anything else you own with 3 patches with water and 1 patch with some oil.  The ram rod should be concave on one end and won't hurt your sabots.  I use the concave side to put power belts down an Encore and it doesn't even mark them up.

I'd like a range report with those sabots when you get a chance
