I originally just wanted a conversion for my old 10/22 to the new .17m2 caliber.  So I ordered the EABCO conversion unit.  Then it required a new target stock and the a new trigger assembly!  New scope mounts and a new Nikon scope.  The total price is now over $500. Shit! that does not include the original price of the rifle.  I could have just bought a new AR.

My 10/22 has around $600 into it.  It looks and shoots great!

I have $600 into my barrel and trigger group alone.  I think you and ARDOC are lucky at this point!  My stock was another $200, mount another $40, gun another $200 and finally, the bolt another $160.

Why didn't I just buy the damn stock Ruger target model???   Damn it!

Because it's not that different than a standard 10/22 carbine.  Custom is the way to go, build it how you want it.

my approx cost;

$200 scope
$100 stock
$100 parts
$180 base rifle
$125 barrel

Like I said on another thread these 10/22 have some sort of power over their owners, they must , why else would sane, intellegent adults do all this $hit and spend all this money on a freakin .22LR.
I resisted for a while, but I caved in.... $850.00 laterhink

Agreed.  10/22s are addictive.  I don't remember what I have tied up in mine, but it might be close to $1000.

I started with the 10/22T, threaded it for the suppressor, added the stock (forget the name) and the Leupold scope.  Changedd the innards for easy mag releease and bolt hold open etc.  Better trigger.  Of all the toys I now have this one consistently goes to the range with me.  Nuff said.
