I used the rail grabber quick detatch mount. It is great and I would'nt replace it.

The Aimpoint QD Railgrabber mount has worked very well for me. Can't overtighten it and it maintains zero when removed and put back on. Goes for around $90-100. |

The very BEST mount for an AimPoint on a flattop is the GG&G Cantilever mount. It is designed to mount the AimPoint out over the handguards where it belongs, and to position the AimPoint so that it will correctly co-witness with the iron sights (assuming you have some kind of rear sight). It also houses a spare battery compartment with an extra battery cap for the AimPoint.
