I've got 8500 rds thru mine since Dec 03, anyone got a higher count (like I have to ask)?

On MLK day I did 1K of 7.62x39 on my 550 in about 4 hours.

My first run of 7.62x39, probally 5 or 6K of 223.

I do 357 and 45 ACP on their own Square Deals.

8500 since December 3rd is nothing to sneeze at. You did mean 03 DECEMBER 2008 right?

I put over 70,000 rds through my 550B in 4½ years and it was just getting broken in.  Then I sold it to get my 650 w/casefeeder.  I've had it slightly over two years now and I've only got about 23,000 rds through it.

I've had my 550b since 2/95 and have just about 30,000 on it.  I'm more of a small batch tinkerer and so I don't really crank them out in big batches.  I'm also doing bolt guns these past 3 years and shooting those isn't like blasting my AKs and ARs, like I did in the past.

I haven't loaded pistol in over a year.

No I meant Dec 2003

I was deployed for 3 years after I got it, and reloaded when I was home on leave.

And then after that I mostly tinker around, and load small amounts.

I was just priming the pump to see how many rounds others have loaded.

My 550 started out as a 450 in 1984, I think. It has since been upgraded to a 550 with a new frame, powder measure system, etc. It has loaded well in excess of 200,000 rounds. I do a bit of pistol shooting (10-15k/year) and have loaded all of my ammo on this press. This is addition to all of the thousands of rounds of .223 I've loaded for p-dog shooting, etc.

It has worn out a few parts, but never been back to Dillon. As far as I can tell, it's still good as new, although the base under the shell plate that the rounds sit on is starting to get concave indents in it where the brass sits.

I lost count, but I'd say a LOT.  My 550B is from '91 or or '92

I got my 550 back in the 80's, long before it was the 550B, probably 1987 or 1988?.

I have no idea how many rounds it has produced but I know I had at least 5 years of at least 15k per year when I was hot into IDPA, 3-gun and USPSA.

I've also had at least a dozen PDog, Coyote and Ground Hog years of 5k of .223.

I was big into Hi-Power and M1-Garand for a while and probably burned 3k or 4k a year doing that for at least 5 years.

My wife burns through a constant 3k per year of 38 special.

I'm guessing I've got 250+K through my 550.

I called Dillion and asked them if I should send My 550 in for a re-build, they told me to call back when I hit a million rounds through it.

I wish I had kept count like y'all did.

I know I put tens of thousands through.

Put my 550 in service in 1993, no idea of the round count.

I know its a bunch because its been sent back to Dillion twice for a overhaul.

Best guess?  100,000 plus rounds
