Does anyone know of a Mossberg 500 single-point sling adapter plate for use with the HK hook?

I'm sure the rectangular type would work with the hook, but then I may as well just buy a new sling system.  The rectangular loop would allow the hook to slide back and forth a little too much.

I'm trying to make my HK-hook sling compatible with several of my platforms.

What diameter hole do you need and how much material can surround the loop?

We have some other steel sling and hook loops in development.

The plate should be quite similar to this mossberg mount

http://www.gandrtactical.com/images/archive/GG&G%20end%20plate%20for%20870%20and%20590.jpg

but instead of a slot, it would have a hole about 3/8" i.d. with about 1/16" to 1/8" wide surrounding material and be about 1/8" thick.

In short, it's just like the HK hook sling adapters for AR-15s, but made to fit between the Mossberg 500 stock and receiver.

Thanks for the suggestion.

We might have something in about 90 days.  I'm sorry that doesn't help you now...

Hey Mesa Tactical i recently bought a high-tube AR M4 stock adapter kit at the Vegas gun show and was also wondering about a single-point sling adapter plate for my mossberg 500.

Since the adapter is made to fit AR-15 style buttstocks wouldnt a GG&G Single-Point plate or  the one that Adrenaline_Arms is selling here work with it? Also would it be possible to just attach a single point to the Uncle Mike's push-button sling swivel or would that limit the movment of the sling?

There's no reason you can't use the push-button sling swivel that came with the kit.  That's what it's for.  Some operators don't like them, however, since they have been known to pop out at critical moments.  Or so I'm told.

Also, since our adapter looks just like an AR-15 in the back, you can go ahead and use one of those  GG&G end-plate sling loops for AR-15s, such as the ones you illustrated.

Finally, because the threads in our mount points are 10-32, you can also screw an Uncle Mike's machine screw sling swivel stud into any of the (unused) holes.

In a month or so we wil have stamped steel sling loops and hook loops for attaching to our mount points.  These would be similar to the GG&G loops you pictured, except they would be specialized for our adapters.  You might have seen one at the gun show.  Real heavy duty stuff for people who don't like any of the other sling solutions.
