A while back there was a post about the Mossberg 590 and Troy mentiioned a model number.  I can't find the post....

It was the model that was parkerized, had ghost ring sights, bayonet lug, and a speedfeed stock.  Any help?

TIA

If it's the 590 you want, model #50668.

If it's the 590A1 you want, model #51668.

The A1 has a heavy barrel and a metal trigger guard and a metal safety. HTH

Thanks guys.

That wasn't the same thread I read before, but it covered much of the same info - Big Bear and mattja supplied the rest.

Actually I just sold a Remington 870 (I had two) and was looking to replace it with the 590A1

I handle a 590 DA when they first came out. The trigger pull was worse than any DA trigger I've ever felt, long and very heavy. The 590 DA might appeal to PDs who are concerned about liability issues in officer involved shootings. I think anyone who's been shooting scatterguns a long time would need alot of retraining to get used to it, if ever.

BTW, good luck, Shadowblade. Glad I could help.
