Has anyone tried the Mossberg 535 Tactical that they sell at Gander Mountain?

I have been looking at the ad for it, but have not made it into the store to check it out.

I like the ghost ring sights, but cannot tell if the front sight is fiber optic or what?

Is there a removable choke tube?

I guess I need to stop putting it off and go check it out.

Looks like a nice shotgun.  You can probably find the same shotgun for cheaper if you don't want the collapsible butt stock.  If you really want that butt stock you can always replace it, all it takes it one bolt.  Whatever you do don't pay full price because there's always wiggle room for the pricing.

I went and checked it out. Nice gun, but did not like the fact that there is no choke tube, as it is fixed.

Studying a little more about it, to see if the forward grip is the same as the Model 500, as I found the barrels are not.

Still considering it, but also thinking of the Remington 870.

Probably depends on which I get a better deal on and when.
