How would I put a swivel stud for the front of a mossberg 500. I already got one in my stock.

If you ever purchase a new barrel for your Mossberg 500, the barrel lug is pre-drilled and tapped for a sling swivel stud. You can get one from Mossberg direct for a couple of dollars. The previous post with the Michaels of Oregon rig is probably a more durable sling mount because the sling swivel stud is attached to a large bolt. I have had no issues with the Mossberg stud though.
