Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 70 Winchester question?

I have a friend that was willed an older Model 70 with no bolt, it is/was 30-06.  Are there parts available for this?  Is was made in 1974, not a pre-64 or anything special, just an older hunting rifle.  Suggestions?  Looking for the bolt is out of the question, the original owner is dead and gone.

A bolt should be no problem at all. The factory would be the first place I'd check with.

Also Numrich Gun Parts would almost certainly have it.

If you hit some Winchester Collector sites, someone may even give you a great deal on one?
