Hello.

I'd like to hear opinions about building a designated marksmen rifle. What I know about it is that it is between role of a sniper and riflemen. I don't have that much of patience to be shooting at that distance, so I made a decision to replace my PSS plan with DMR plan.
I currently own AR-15s with 14.5" bbl, so I thought I could use some opinions about this DMR. I'd like it to be semi-auto, and I plan to use TA31 ACOG with it. (sorry new-arguy I've changed my mind again so much for asking that much questions...) The thing is...I generally like to shoot a lot and I don't want to waste all that match grade ammunition with this DMR. What I'd like to do is achieving an acceptable combat accuracy with genuine military ammo (Q3131A or something) while having extended range. Is that too much request?

I was thinking about v-match 20" or just 20". I'd appreciate your opinions :)
