I just picked one up at a gun show and was wondering about the cleaning rod.It's a Yugo if it matters.Is the cleaning rod supposed to be only half the length of the barrel?It unscrews from under the barrel,but isn't long enough to go all the way thru-did they clean them from each end?I'm not going to use it to clean,I'm just curious.

I also would like to know what weight bullet the sights are set up for?I got a couple hundred rounds with it that are steel case,old,and apparently have some issues-lock time is a little slower than my muzzleloaders .

I believe you were supposed to borrow another cleaning rod, screw them together then they would be long enough.
