My dad has a Marlin 75C .22.  The buffer is busted in half.  Brownells doesn't list that model of rifle.  What is it's current equivelent?  I checked Numrich and they list a different part number for just about every buffer.  Are they the same as the Model 60's?

Give Brownells a call and ask for technical help. The guys there will be able to stear you in the right direction.

They are the same.  The gun will run for a long time with the original cracked in half, but if it's in pieces you should replace it.

It can be a real motherfucker to change though!  Watch out for those little E-clips!
