Yes, that can be done.  For a few hundred.  The motor doesn't like the abuse for long and the chips will eventually clog the vacuum hose.



The bearings on the motor can be replaced but what usually happens is the aluminum end caps wallow out.  This can be fixed with filled epoxy after wrapping the OD of the bearings in PTFE tape so the bearings can be removed.



You are making a good bit of brass wool there

Awsome, wish I had the funds for a dillon setup.  Brass is even getting pretty hard to find at a decent price.

Yea,  I've done 10s of thousands with my 1200 and can't see any ill affects. Like another said. The key is to do it in shorter batches and then let cool.
