Anyone know if the sear trip lever for an MP5 is any different from that of a G3 (assume registered sear gun)?

And any recomendations on where to get a spare trip lever?

Depends on what the aftermarket sear was set up for (Factory MP-5 unit uses a roller sear), and aftermarket are friction.

Also, the trip lever made have been fitted to the sear, instead of the sear touched, so the new lever may not be a drop in part.

As far as I can tell they're the same.  YMMV

I think Robert Johnson sells them.

If you are thinking of using a lower, say from a S&H mp5, on your HK91, just change the ejector and maybe the hammer spring and things should work just fine in your 91.  If this is not what is going through your mind, just ignore this post
