After looking at Benellis site I

There's a wait on them right now.
Emails to Benelli pretty much have it that the lions share of production is going to the gubmint.

Sorry about that, I started to make a post at my work desk, but got cought up with some business, there was much more to it than that one fragmented sentence, but I found out what I needed to know.

For consideration, I've had 2 on order for a full year now w/ 50% paid up front. That's 12 months & counting. YMMV, but I have specific plans for my collection portfolio, & the M4S90 satisfies my SG category requirements, so, I patiently continue waiting.

Did you get them for a great price or something? There have been many for sale in the last year, so I'm sure that you could have scrounged one up by now if you really wanted to.

The dealer I bought them from has a good rep, & has told me that they actually placed 4 on order - mine & 2 for their in-house stock - from the factory, but that military priority has strangled the civy supply line. I'm not (yet) inclined to believe I'm being played. I'm hoping to get a crack at them before this summer ends & I have to go back to another 9 mos. of purgatory. Don't get out much during the 3 study qtrs.

I found an m1014 for $1500 in Cali today....I'm thinking about picking it up but I can't see how it'd be much better than the m1. :D

6 months at least according to Benelli. They will all come with pistol grip stock.

My local gun shop has one that is used, but it has the American Flag on the side, I guess that means it was the limited one.

It you guys want the number let me know

Not bad at all. But still a 6 months minimum wait.

No, he's talking about the used M1014 at his dealer's for $1000.

EDIT: That's still a good deal, considering I paid $1575 + tax for my M1014.

M4Madness is right. My FFL has a "used" one for $1,000 and I saw NIB one in the Twin Cities metro area of MN last night for $1,379.

If anyone would like the M1014 for $1,000 send me a IM and I will give you the gun shop's info.

I was with my friend on last Saturday when he picked up an M4S90 at Sportsman's Warehouse. It was a little over $1100. Needless to say, we had a great time on Sunday!!! So there might be some out there if you look around and find the right place.
