Has anyone tried the new Pmags in a MSAR E4?

I bought a few of the new Pmags to try out and they will not lock and engage the mag catch.( tried 4 different mags). Seems like the new over-travel stop on the mags is stopping full engagement
I have the older polymer mag catch on my E4, could this be the issue and it be fixed with the newer metal mag catch? Looks like I could grind down the over travel stop on the Pmag, but don't want to bust out the dremel unless I'm sure.

Just want to verify this is an issue or if I'm the only one ??

My E4 has the upgraded steel mag catch, and I just put the latest gen E4 stock (gen 5?) on my AUG.
Picked up 2 M3 mags from Primary Arms last week, and nope, they don't fit in either stock. I don't have a Steyr NATO stock to try them in.

eta: And you're right, it's the over travel stop on the new mags keeping them from going in.

I never had good luck with Pmags in the E4 stock, all my USGI's will lock the bolt back, the Pmags do not do it with any reliability or consistency.

I know people gush over Pmags, but my personal experience has been they don't lock into every gun and they don't always lock the bolt back (on my MSAR and AR-15's).

Just tried a Gen M3 in a E4 stock. No go. The over-insertion shelf keeps it from seating.

Finally had the chance to try one in an AUG NATO stock. They fit, but seem to have a bit of lateral play. Don't know if they would feed/function, but they definitely lock into a NATO just fine.

I dont use magpuls in my bullpups anymore. Too many finicky issues: http://youtu.be/4OclJREGkdI

I like the Lancer warfighter mags though. They've been really solid.
