Does there exist a master list of CA legal muzzle compensators ?
Would like to know what the options are...

Also, what is the std thread pattern on an M14 ?

and would it be possible to rethread a compensator that is threaded 15 x 1.0M (right hand)
off of an HK91 to properly fit the std M14 threads ?

May have to move to CA for a few years for work, need to make sure I can take a few
toys with me ...

Also looking for a 18" barrel, what manufacturers are recommended ?

This is going to be a Crazy Horse type build, gas lock front sight, shortened stock, etc...

Just use a SEI muzzle break. The USCG one.

Some of them can be quite the beast to shoot.

I don't know about standing next to someone firing them, but behind the trigger I don't even notice the one on my tanker garand.
