That pic is why I started the thread.
I saw how nice that looked and said "Gotta have one for my next purchase."

OH, so tagged!

This is NOT mine, but I'm going to do mine like this with Alumihyde II from Brownells using matte black, desert tan and OD green, with stencils from Bulldog. I think it looks great and I'm sick of all the black stocks laying around here, it's depressing me.

The rifle on the left has a Sadlak experimental M14 magazine latch. I tested it and like the experimental magazine latch. Sadlak Industries will be offering them in the coming months.

Here's my select fire M1A in a SparrowHawk desert camo USGI synthetic stock.

Nice rifle. Do you feel that the mount holds zero well? Looks like a great inexpensive mount for Red Dot use...

Sorry I can't post any pictures at this time, but if I could, I would post a few pics of some groups I shot with mine (after I put the two I own in fiberglass stocks) that would bring tears to your eyes.

Where does one get a rubber butt plate like that? I can't stand the military one as it keeps sliding off of my shoulder.

Very nice.
Where did you find one without the selector cutout?

Came off a SocomII. Somebody bought a newfangled stock and sold me this one. All they are is a scruffed up USGI underneath that bedliner coat, and a filled in selector cut out. At least, that's what I'm told. It's definitely lighter than wood.
