I'd take my AR15 over a shotgun anyday in a combat senerio, "Not to dis' a shotgun they kick ass".

1. It's more accurate from 0-400+yards, and more accurate because of the less recoil, "Recoil Reduction Systems in em'" in quick multipule target acquirement senario's.

2. I can squeeze off accurate round's way faster than with a shotgun, even an automatic shotgun, "well more accurate I should say, than an auto hogleg".

Don't get me wrong a shotgun is "The close range weapon to have" but most gun fight's aren't at extremely close quarters, "I stress in MOST case's". Plus an AR15 at extremly close range is pretty deadly too.

Well my shotgun is not really a full battel weapon ,I just take it with me when I'm out and about to deal with any bad guys(or what the hell ever) in my 0-100 yards space.
You can shoot it and not go deaf,and if I had the shoot something really big even the size of Moose(no Moose in Fl anyway) I don't have to be a great shot just about any shot to the head or neck with stop it dead.

I like the shot gun not cuz I think it's the best long rang weapon or that it's the best any one thing,it's just the best overall.

And I like really big guns tooreally man you got to love a .62cal

You're joking, right?  I once shot my 870 with a .50 Slug...and damnit I forgot to put on my ear protection.  I was deaf for 3 days.  That damn thing is LOUD!
