I have searched and searched for a knife which will satisfy my desire but I have been left wanting.  I am not looking for anything magical here, just something strong that will hold a nice edge.  If there are any knife makers out there who would be interested in seeing what I want and quoting a price please drop me an email or IM.  I have come up with a pretty decent idea of what I want but I would need to run it by someone who knows about knives & steel.
