What is the difference in the knobs/turrets of the Vari-X II and Vari-X III?

The type of knobs/turrets is dictated by the type of scope.
ie: A target, tactical, or hunting.

They do differ, however when it comes to adjustment.  IIs have friction adjust, and IIIs click.  Leupold has discontinued the Vari-X II line, so if you want one buy it now.
