Top - "Persian" Mauser.  Actually made by CZ in Brno, under contract to Persian government.

Middle - M48A

Bottom - Schmidt-Rubin K31.  Not a Mauser.

I have more, just no photos.

My $69.95 M48.  Shoots pretty good too!

I've got an extra stock so I just ordered a broken-stock Bosnian and another 700 rounds of ammo.

I love the way that M48 looks.  Light stock with nice dark blueing.

I am probably going to buy a K31 soon.

I want a Czech Mauser of some sort too.

Damn, I want that whole pic

I have a Swede '94 and '96, a Turkish and two customized mausers (for deer hunting). There are a lot of Mausers out there I would love to have, but......too many Mausers and too little money.

I would like to add one to my collection and have noticed there are a number of different types/models.

Can anyone offer some hints, tips or suggestions which to purchase, which to stay away from and what to look for.

There is a gun show coming up and have noticed what looks to be new in the box items for about $350 and others on this board getting ones for $100.

What do you guys think about those Collectors Grade Mitchell's Mausers?

Are they worth the higher price?

How accurate are they?

mitchells are con artists.  they're not worth the higher price, and not any more accurate.  for their price you could buy 2 or 3 m48's from someone else.

WHen I bought it, it was already in that stock and D&T'd.

It's a shame too because it is all matching and in great condition.
