If it doesn't collapse, isn't adjustabe, and your rifle still meets overall length requirements you should be fine.

Anyone have a pic of one on a rifle? I own two prebans but am debating on what to do with a postban Bushmaster lower. If I can make a "cool" yet legal postban AR this might be the ticket......

How much shorter is it vs the A2 stock? I've tried comparing it to the collapsed pre-ban stock and the A2 stock on the same page, but I"m not sure if the scale of the pictures is the same. Looks like it is as long as a fully collapsed carbine stock. Seems a little short to me, but I hear that lots of SWAT types use it that way exclusively. I'd like something just a little shorter than the A1 stock.
Also, on that RRA page they have 3 handguard lengths. The regular, carbine, and some sort of "mid" length guard. What do these go on? I thought the ARs had 2 handguard lengths. Nevermind, looking on their site I see that they do offer a "mid" length carbine upper. Interesting. |

Does anyone here know what the OAL has to be for sure? My post ban A2 Bushmaster Shorty is at 34" oal right now. So if it can be down to 26" one of these stocks shouldnt post a problem.

Donnie at Sableco said the buttstock is 7.5" long....which is longer than a closed telescoping stock
