No comparison really...Duracoat is more or less like epoxy rather than paint. Of your two choices, Duracoat wins hands down. |

Krylon wipes off when using solvent that removes copper fouling off your gun (i.e. Hoppes Semi 9 Auto). Duracoat doesn't.

No contest...
Gun Scrubber = no more Krylon. Duracoat, while IMHO is not as durable as some bake on coatings, is durable stuff once fully cured. - AG |

My best luck (and I've tried 'em all) has been with KG Gunkote. Good prep is a must, and you have to have a big enough oven to bake each part at 325 deg for an hour. - AG |
