I know the RFB uses FAL Metric magazines. From what I've been reading, the RRA LAR-8 willo use either the Metric or the Inch pattern FAL magazines. Has anyone used any of the RRA LAR-8 mags in their RFB? If so, how did it work?

I bought two of the 10rd mags for NJ compliance and they can be forced to cycle the first few rounds but then it gets really tough, as for the 20rd mags I have no clue. I have yet to get a chance to take them to the range for a real test run but i have a feeling I will be replacing them with DSA 10rd fal mags.

Ahh..okay, wasnt aware that DSA made 10 round mags. Thanks for your input.

BTW, do you know who makes the cheek piece cover for RFB's?

I believe the polymer 20rd magazines from RRA do work though, I saw a reload vid on youtube with a guy using one.

Found it...

How do you like your RFB overall? I've got an FNAR I'm contemplating trading in for an RFB. I got to hold one at the gun store and really liked how it handled.

If it wasnt for the fact that im in NJ i would love it because the 10rd mags are impossible to find, I have the RFB and FNAR and decided to keep both, there is no way in hell the RFB is gonna compete with FNAR in accuracy so i put a trijicon reflex on it for a little cqb/hog slaying action.
