Hey guys, so i just bought a friends Savage MK II for 100 bucks......because I want to get into 22 target shooting and he had a bolt action for sale.....thats about 80% of the reason for the purchase.

Its still in its original factory form with the 3x9 tasco scope and sling and he threw in a case.

So now that I have this thing i need to put it into a different stock. The factory stock is a bit too tiny for me and I would like to have a target stock or some form of tactical stock with a much higher cheek weld and less strain on my shooting position.

I just got done with my first stock bedding project a few weeks ago and feel pretty confident that I could do it again on another different rifle this time and go about it pretty easily. That being said, what kind of options are out there for this rifle in the line of stocks.

I hope to shoot it off of a bipod and not bags and would appreciate something much closer to this

to alleviate stress on my shooting position so that we can focus more on other aspects of accuracy.

As ive always said, id love to hear what kind of ideas that Hive has.

thanks
