I bought two 20 inch and one 16 inch A2 kits and a from Jack about 8 months ago. Got them quickly and they went together without a problem.

The kits are fine. I had to replace the selector switch to something from Bushmaster, but the rest of the kit was fine. This was about the 7th or 8th kit I have done. Before I had gotten Model 1 Sales only, but they would take FOREVER to deliver. They would also lie and say two weeks which in the worst case became 6 months and in the best two months. JT sent my kit when they said they would and it shoots as straight as any 16in AR I have ever shot. Go for it and save yourself some dough.

Which kit specifically? December 2000 I got the AR15a2 (20" bbl, a2 sights, etc) kit - everything minus lower receiver. Great kit. No complaints - though I wish they had a NM free floating handguards option. That and an after market trigger is really what I'm missing.

The bore is chrome-moly, not the chrome plated mil spec/chamber. Its the only AR I have ever shot, so I have no frame of reference for comparisons.

I just put one of thier kits together. Got it less than 2 weeks after ordering, went together well, good finish, shoots great. I can recommend them without reservation.

J&T is a pretty good outfit, I've had good experiences there.
