Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is this knife worth anything?

I'm curious if anybody can tell me if this knife is worth anything or is sought after by collectors.  It's an Applegate-Fairbairn by Ace Knives which I understand is now out of Business.  It has the Signatures of Applegate and Fairbairn reproduced on the Blade and it is Serial Numbered 1000.   When I got it back in the 1990's I was told there would only be 1500 made and I just happened to get 1000.    Anybody familar with them?
