Its not a a bad deal, but its not a screamer either. I paid just less than that for my 336T, and see regular 336s for a little to a lot less pretty consistently.

In my area that is a great deal. A good deal would be under $400.
35 Rem is a great caliber. Good luck finding ammo. |

I picked up a 2/3 magazine Glenfield Model 30 in really good shape for $190 recently.
