Hello,
I like it, the ammo that they have is 7.62x54R surplus FMJ, 440 rd in sealed tins. It is made in Albania and is corrosive ammo. I was up thier about 3 weeks ago and bought some, it works good in my Mosin Nagant rifles, a lot better than the Czech Silver Tip ammo my bolts tend to stick with the Czech ammo. Match my ass. It is standard Albanian light ball.
It is about 50/50 in reviews. Some hate it, others love it. Match it is not by any means. It is corrosive. I would try some along with the Czech silver tip and any other light ball you can get before commiting to a large buy. If you are just bying it for cheap blasting ammo, it is a fair price. |

Thanks guys! I do hundreds of rounds a week so the cheeper the better. I have not shoot corossive ammo before though. Will this type of ammo rust away my gun? If I clean it right away will it be ok?

There are a million ways to clean for this. I do it the old fasion way. A pitcher of warm soapy water poured down the bore when you get home. Let dry for an hour or so, then regular cleaning. I have never once had a problem. I have even taken a shower with a mauser before when i was tired and dirty and had to clean it.
If you live where it is not very humid, you van go a day or two beofre you do this, but I wouldn't. Left uncleaned, or simply cleaned the regular way, it will rust away. I have a Mauser bolt that came very close to killing a man who never cleaned after years of corrosive ammo and long term storage. The bullt went 3 inches into the barrel. The bolt blew apart and back into his head. I use it as a visual to explain what can happen if you don't clean your gun. I know it is an absolute worst case senario, but it makes it point well. Just clean and you will be fine. |

Hey!
After polishing the chamber on my MN 91/30 I've had no problems shooting the Czech 147gr Silvertip ammo. In my rifle it's very accurate and cheap. Now, the claim is that's it's non-corrosive. I usually bring a can of "breakfree" to the range and spray the bore and bolt after shooting. I've left it in the closet for a few days before cleaning and have had no problems. |

ALL milsurp 54r is corrosive! CZ and Hung 147gr are my favorites. Albanian seem to have a slightly slower burn and the best fireball from MN carbines. Buy by the crate at about 7-8 cents a shot.
I use Sweets 762 for the corrosive cleanup, then normal oil. |

Wow, I think you told me that before a while back. I cannot believe they still say that.
I have been wrong when I tell people about the ammo they buy, but I sure as hell tell them the truth when I find out I was wrong. |

The Amonia in Windex only breaks down the copper. The liduid that makes up the solution helps to disolve the salts. Not the "windex" itself.
