Don't know if a GI part will fit. That would be the easiest fix. If that won't work, have a machinist/gunsmith ream out the aperture at right angles to the "flat" of the peep. Touch-up with cold blue, and done. |

I replaced the rear sight on my Poly with a complete M1 rear sight, it fit perfectly and cost less than most M14 rear sight sets I've seen...I'm not going to pay $40.00 or more for a M14 elevation pinion because the elevation drum is marked in meters...I paid $25 for the complete M1 rear sight it works just fine in the Poly, But to answer your question..USGI rear sights will fit in the Poly

G.I. will fit. but the commie knobs don't have compatable threads iirc., so get a COMPLETE rear sight set.
