Which one would it be?

The Manufacturer would be the only Brand Name you could buy (even if it was made by someone else--as long as it is stamped XXX, it qualifies).

I would be torn a couple of ways--

SIG--P series handguns, bolt rifles, O/U shotguns, 550/1 rifles.

Beretta--The 92 handguns, the shotguns of all types, the bolt rifle, and the AR70 rifle.

Armalite--the AR 10 and 15, the AR-50 but no handguns.

In the end, even with the lack of a .50, I'd probably stick with Heckler and Koch--

MP-5, UMP, G3, USP, P7, etc.

What would your prefered manufacturer be??

I'n gonna cheat and eliminate handguns.

ArmaLite

(For handguns I'd probably pick Walther and immediately have a trigger job done.)

If your including all lines including military/LEO, Colt:
- M16 (all varients: A2, M4, SMG)
- revolvers
- semi-auto pistols
- even the Colt light-rifle for a bolt gun
- not to mention the M203 gernade launcher

This isnt even a fair question.  I changed my mind three damn times while I read the friggin post, but still came back to my original pick of Colt.  Why?  Because if you need more than a 1911 and an AR15 you are in serious trouble anyway.

I have a point with this post.  You will see many "Bushmaster vs. Colt vs. Armalite vs. whatever" or "Model 92 vs. 1911 vs. HiPower" type threads.   I wanted to see if there was some kind of Majority opinion on a favored manufacturer rather than individual models.

And, Hkocher--if you REALLY want some Lorcin's, I'll trade you 10 of them for the guns you have listed on the FS board.

And I have to admit, I FORGOT (Mea Maxima Culpa) FN!!!! .  I would put them second only to the HK's.

Yea, HK/Colt/FN.

Really got all your needs with either.

Colt seems to have the edge with CURRENT production stuff.

Alot of the cool HK/FN stuff is no longer current.

On the other hand FN has the SAW and HK the MP5, ................
